Reflections of 9/11
Our time is unique in history. It is the only time that the entire human race can be in instant contact with each other and all eyes see around the world..
It is the 5819nd year of Solomon’s Temple
The 243th year of our Republic
It has now been eighteen years since the atrocity of September eleventh, 2001
It’s certainly changed our perspective. The Forge Master plunged our country’s mettle into the deep terroristic chill that would temper us as we held to one another like the bonded atoms of hammered steel. Only after tempering will it take an edge,
true and shining, fit for the task at hand.
But what of Masonry? How has this terrible punctuation and march of Time affected your relationship to the Fraternity? In our loss, what has been found? I know emotions ranged from “What’s the use?” to “If no one else, then I will bear up the Light! Follow me!”. May we always choose the latter!
I truly believe the rough ashlar is now more polished than before and we must realize who we are, remaining true to our Obligations. As members of the most moral Fraternity on the face of the Earth, we must continue to take leadership roles within length of our cable tow. First in our families, then in our communities.
Many questions taxing the wisdom of brethren emerged, now hopefully, many answers.
We are here only for a time. Apply the Gauge, employ the Square, walk upon the Level by the Plumb before all. In peace and war, we are Masons! We build where others seek to destroy.

2019 Officer Leadership Training
The 2019 Officer Leadership Training took place August 9th, 10th, & 11th at Hella Shrine.
This was an amazing weekend of learning and fellowship for all who attended!
Julian Feild Lodge would like to thank the Committee of Masonic Education and Service and The Grand Lodge of Texas A.F. & A.M. for putting on this wonderful program.
Golden Trowel Award
On May 28th, 2019 Julian Feild Lodge #908 A.F. & A.M. was honored to present the Golden Trowel Award to Brother Past Master Rudy Zamora Jr. The Golden Trowel is the Lodge’s formal recognition of a Brother for his devoted service to Masonic principles in both inside, as well as outside of the Lodge. It is intended for the Brother who, year after year, quietly, but actively demonstrates his devotion to the teachings of Masonry without thought of recognition or special honors. Brother Past Master Rudy Zamora exemplifies this with the work he continues to do for the community as well as his devotion to spreading Masonic education. We thank you for all that you do!
Installation of Officers
On July 6th, 2019 Julian Feild Lodge #908 A.F. & A.M. conducted the installation of Officers for the new Masonic year! A special thank you goes out to the H. Malvern Marks chapeter of DeMolay and the Fort Worth Assembly #15 of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls for your participation in this event. We would also like to thank all of the friends and family that attended. It's only with your support that we are able to continue the work that we do.
The Principles of Freemasonry
Freemasonry is a fraternal origination dedicated to Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth
How a man chooses to practice his personal religious beliefs is left entirely up to him, but Freemasonry recognizes the strong bond which unites all people under One Creator. Our members include men from a wide range of religious backgrounds, but each of them shares a commitment to this important principle.
Because of our strong bond of Brotherly Love, Masons provide Relief to help those who are in need. This includes the notion of charity, and Masons provide much assistance to worthy charities, but it also means offering a helping hand, in other ways, to people that need assistance.
As Masons, we are committed to being honest and truthful with other people. The Masonic Fraternity teaches a man to be faithful to his responsibilities to God, his Country, his fellow man, his family and himself. The Masonic principle of Truth also teaches a man to search for wisdom and understanding. For only in this way can he grow and become a better person. The pursuit of knowledge is at the very heart of our purpose.
